I have worked for this client for a few years now and I loved transforming this master bedroom for her!
The black and gold throughout the room give it an opulent and stylish look. We created this oversized headboard with a black frame which is an amazing backdrop for this super king sized bed. We then used a Wemyss fabric to create an oversized bed throw to drape softly on the floor, which we interlined to add a luxurious padded feel to it. I then sourced a combination of matching fabrics and created a beautiful display of different sized cushions with various textures, patterns and shapes.
We chose a beautiful heavy velvet curtaining by Kai to again create an opulent feel. We hung it on a brass pole with a smoked glass ball finial to match the colours throughout the room. All of our curtains are interlined to help keep the heat in and last longer, plus they help them to hang perfectly even with a pinch pleat heading like these.
We used a black deep pile carpet,a small added black furniture with brass hardware. We definitely get an opulent feel from this finished bedroom!
