This lovely room has been transformed from what it was previously.
We papered the two opposite walls with this beautiful grown up blue/grey damask wallpaper and then complemented it by painting the remaining two walls in a soft pink.
We added this incredible glass chandelier to add a bit of glam to the room and had this stunning rocking chair bespoke made to match the scheme, as well as the cushions.
We hung stunning cream hand-sewn interlined curtains to a chrome pole and pulled them off the window with two cut glass tiebacks. The carpet we used was a Firth carpet which was both soft and plush underfoot.

Then we used white furniture which can be changed as the baby grows without changing all the decor.
I think this room is a perfect example of creating a scheme that can grow with a child. It’s not babyish nor too grown up. It will last years and can still be used if we change the purpose of the room.
